hi,

I want to make my airport base station gigabytes N a relay between my mac and my modem/routeur Bell.

I can do it with the ethernet cable but I want to do it WIRELESSLY

So the link between the modem and the airport must be wirelessly

Thank you

Julien

AFAIK, Airports can only extend wireless networks created by other Airports (and certain versions of Linksys routers, but that's more of a hack).

Unless that AT&T modem has a wireless access point in it, there's no way to connect the Airport base station to it wirelessly. And if it had a wifi access point, you'd not need the Airport to begin with.

You're looking for wireless ethernet, which of course is what the Airport is proving... so you'll have to have an ethernet cable between the modem and the Airport.

Any particular reason why you want to have this it wireless?
