airport card alternatives?

Hey, I was just wondering if there are any 3rd party wireless cards that will work in my powerbook. If so, are they much cheaper than an airport card? What's the best way to go?

if the powerbook has a pc card slot u can use most PCMIA cards i think... i liek the airport cards... they fit inside and on ALU books the antenna is built and works well so they make a great combo and work flawlessly
