Airport card and connecting pins

The two central pins which fit into the botom of an Airport card on an iBook G3 have somehow become bent over (no idea how), so the card doesn't fit. I think they may be able to be realigned but I'm not sure if
A) this can be done with a long enough screwdriver or something similar,
or
B) if I need to take the mesh above the pins off to reach them. If so any help on what I should remove to reach them and what I shouldn't?

long tweezers would be your best bet I think.
