Hi, all. My new MacBook Pro is great, but I'm really bummed that it can't connect to my home network wirelessly. I've taken it to a local Starbuck's and it worked there. I have a Trendnet TEW-631BRP and have tried troubleshooting all the way back to no security at all, but no luck. I can authenticate and connect to the network, but get green lights only down to the ISP... Internet remains red. I found that I am not the only person with this problem on 10.5.2 from an article at macnn.com, but cannot seem to get the correct search terms to find the solution on this forum.
Wired connection is no problem. I've heard the solutions to this issue are pretty low level (like replacing kernel extensions and/or changing fragmentation and frame thresholds). Anyone here have an idea? I do have a D-Link wireless router on the way to see if switching brands will make a difference, but that's just rolling the dice.
Anyone have advice?
Thanks!
