I have an older G4 Powerbook (1 ghz G4) that I'd like to give to my dad for practicing his computer skill. The Powerbook looks mint and works flawlessly, though sloooow.
The only it lacks to make it a complete starter computer is an airport card. Can I install one and more importantly, is it easy?

Thanks!

Does the power cord plug into the back or the side of the Powerbook? If it is the back, you need the older original Airport B card. If it is the side, you need the newer Airport Extreme G card.

The power cord plug is on the left side. Is is fairly easy to install one?

Very easy. You likely will be able to install it by removing the battery and opening the little door inside the battery compartment and putting in the Airport Extreme card.
