I have a six month old intel iMac I have just upgraded to leopard. After the upgrade the airport card is reported as not being present. When i go to machine info it says by the aorport card setting, not present.

Any one experienced the same and what can i do?

Thanks.

Same thing after Leopard Update this AM

24" iMac Aluminum. 1.5 months old. Ran the small update, rebooted, no longer shows an airport card. This is total BS and unacceptable of Apple.

To save some time:

"Can you guys having problems check if the AppleAirPort2.kext is still present in your /System/Library/Extensions folder? It is an older Tiger-only AirPort driver that is no longer used on Leopard. You can simply delete it, or move it aside by changing the extension to something besides .kext. See if that fixes your problem."

Also worked for me, on my 24" iMac upgrade.
