I just bought an Original Airport card (new via eBay) for my G3 Powerbook Pismo 500. My Mac has the Airport software installed, but when I try to open the utility to get started it says something like "No Airport card was found. Shut down, make sure you have an Airport card plugged in correctly, and restart." I'm no genius, but I'm pretty darn sure I plugged the card in right. (It only fits in one way.) I tried rebooting a few times. Nothing. What am I doing wrong? Did I get a bad card? How would I know? Help me Obi-wan, you're my only hope.
