Dear all,

My Airport card doesn't show any wireless network.
When I consult system profiler I get the following information:

AirPort Card Information:

Wireless Card Type: AirPort
Wireless Card Locale: Worldwide
Wireless Card Firmware Version: 9.52
Current Wireless Network: wireless network not available

I checked the card, but everything looks fine (antenna is connected and card correctly plugged in). I also checked the configuration of my wireless router and everything should be fine.(other wireless computers can connect)

I'm using a linksys WRT54GS wireless router and my mac is an old G4 500 DP running OS X 10.4.11.

Anyone has an idea what could be the problem?

Thanks

Peter

Maybe your wireless network is not set to broadcast it's SSID? Have you tried clicking on the "other network" setting and entering the details manually?

I checked my router and it's broadcasting it's SSID.
I'll try to insert the SSID manually later on.

thank you for your reply.

rgds,

Peter
