A few threads ago, I talked about building a Windows box with a Sawtooth case. The case has that little thingy for the Airport Card, and what I'm wondering is if it would be possible to use an Airport Card with Windows? My gut feeling says no, but it would be nice to have it there. Any ideas? Thanks.

I'm 99.99% sure the card itself won't work with a non-Mac logic board. The AirPort connector is (IIRC) a cross-breed between a PCMCIA/CardBus interface and a standard PCI bus (I think it's CardBus + some extra juice).

However, if the case was from an 'AirPort Ready' machine, with an in-built antenna, that antenna should work with a number of standard PCI cards. The connector itself is standard, so if you get a card with support for such an antenna, you should be able to hook it up. A little googling should reveal the proper name for the connector, and then you can check the specs of any card you look to purchase.
