Airport command not working as expected

Hello

In Ventura the "airport" command line tool (/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Apple80211.framework/Versions/Current/Resources/airport) disconnected a wifi interface permanently from the wifi network with the option „-z“ without disabling the interface. But now the interface is reconnecting automatically after about 30 seconds.
My Script for disabling the connection to the wifi when the laptop is plugged in is not working any more.

Is it only me?
