This is probably a stupid question, but I'll ask it anyway (I'm spending $1600 tonight, so I want to be right).

I've got an old DVSE 400mhz iMac with an Aiport card that works fine with my SMC wireless router. I'm going to the Apple Store tonight to buy a G5 iMac with Airport Extreme.

The question: will there be any problems in having them both on the same wireless network (moving files back and forth and such)?

Nope, no problems at all. You'll only be able to transfer at 'b' speeds rather than 'g' (extreme) due to the older airport tech in the DV, but things should work fine otherwise.
