Airport connecting better to PC over MAC. Help very much needed

Hi I really need some help with this as Im the owner of a mac in a household and everyone else is using PC and they all get a way better signal then I do even though I'm siting right beside the airport.

so please do help us, or me at least because I want the internet to work as good for me as it is everyone else.

I know I'm getting less signal because when I open the airport utility my signl is -57 and everyone else is -1 my noise is ussually a bit less but oly by 4 or 5 and my rate is always the lowest out of them all because they all get 300 and I'm either at 14 in room or when I'm right besid ethe thing I only get 220-250 ish.

So help wold be greatly appreciated, please let me know, thanks a bunch!

Have you tried your mac on someone else's wireless base station? See if your signal is better?

No I haven't but the router isn't likely to change because everyone else's internet connection is fine but mine.
