I've used different forms of encryption and even none on the wireless router I have, my Mac can connect and surf fine with ethernet, but using airport just leaves it hanging even though it says it has connected to my network at the top (the Airport logo).

What's going on with it, any ideas?

When connected via Airport. Is your Mac getting an IP address?

Maybe try going to System Preferences > Network > Show AirPort then click on the IPv4: pull down and select DHCP, or do it manually and put in all your info.

It took me a while to get it sir, but you're a star, thanks for helping. :)
