Airport Connection Timeout issue

A was using her laptop and was connected to the internet via airport. On Monday she was able to connect and Tuesday she couldn’t. I would appreciate it if someone could provide help in resolving the issue or point me to a trouble shooting steps. The laptop is running Snow Leopard.
