I constantly get a "connection timeout" message when trying to connect to WEP networks with Airport Extreme.
OS X 10.5.6, 2.4GHz Macbook Pro (mid 2007.)
The password is correct, I've tried entering it as ASCII and hexadecimal, tried running through networks diagnostics, but it won't connect. It's very temperamental, often taken 3 or 4 attempts at entering the password to connect. Now, it won't connect at all. WPA networks are fine.
Is there some workaround, or has Apple just done a bad job with their wireless?
