Hey guys,

I'm doing IT/tech support at a study abroad program and a student just brought me a MacBook Pro with bizarre symptoms.

Looking under Network Preferences, it has acquired a valid IP address via DHCP and shows connectivity -- i.e. packets both sent and received. I can ping google.com, which means that DNS is working and that there is connectivity all the way though. I cannot, however, view any pages with the browser.

Actually, it doesn't work on my iPad, either -- although it does work on any PCs.

Any ideas?

I should also mention that the router is a LinkSys/Cisco WAP4410N... and I do realize that LinkSys routers historically don't play too nicely with Macs.
