I'm having an issue with airport connecting automatically to my wireless network at home. I have a dedicated internet router and an airport express for wiring music. I don't keep the express plugged in all the time (only for parties, etc when needed). So, basically whenever I do use the express and then go back to the internet, upon start up and waking, my iMac doesn't connect automatically to the network (internet router). It just sits there waiting for me to choose a connection. I have tried the automatic setting in the system preferences to remember and join networks I have joined before, but to no avail. I have to manually choose my internet connection from the airport menu. The only solution I have found is to delete the express network from the list and then everything is peachy. Of course though, I'd rather have both networks setup in airport at all times and just manually choose the express when needed. Any ideas why my iMac isn't smart enough to recognize the last network connection and always connect to it by default?
