Airport Disc with PS3

It is possible to connect your PS3 to a external HDD connected to an Airport Extreme? I have the two talking to each other, and it seams to work great, but its not detecting the disc for a media server.

Airport doesn't use UPNP to share the media on the drive so thats why it cannot see the content.
