Airport Disk Over Internet?

I'm trying to figure out how to get Airport disk accessible over the internet. Did 7.1.1 of the Airport Extreme Base station firmware cripple the "Access over WAN" function needed to access such a function or can the "Wide Area Bonjour" serve this purpose? If there's any way I can get my drives accessed from the internet, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
