I have an iBook G3 with a standard airport card, and running Mac OS 10.4.3.
When I boot up the computer the airport driver takes anywhere from 10 minutes to forever to load, lagging up the rest of OS until it does. When it does load up, it can't detect a network. Interestingly, if I load up Kismac and use the Kismac driver, it can detect networks. So the card is fine, but it seems like the driver got borked.
This problem has cropped up a few times and resolved itself randomly. Sometimes resetting the PRAM helped (or it was a coicidence) but that hasn't fixed it this time.
Any suggestions?
