Airport dropping out...web surfing verrry slow imac 08

Have a problem with my imac 2008 model

running leopard 10.5.6.

my airport seems to drop out sometimes and not connect to my router... werid


then when id DOES connect the internet is verrry slow

i have reset my ram router and modem, other windows machines run fine... one laptop wireless and one pc wired both connect and run fast

any ideas?

similar problem for me. my macbook will not recognize my work wireless connection, but it will when it is wired. it does recognize my home wireless network. in both places the connection is super slow... this connection speed is the same for my imac at home.. it is wired. both machines have recently had leopard put on them. i am at a loss. help me too please.
