I need help with making the ethernet connection for my window vista computer work with internet.

"the AirPort Disk became available. what do you want to do?"

I typed my network and password.

Then it said

"AirPort Base Station Agent:
Could not connect to the disk. Make sure NetBIOS is enabled and try again."

What should I do?

I hope to hear from someone about this problem. Thanks!

Just to get things clearer, you network contains the following setup (or not):

PC with Windows Vista on it
AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBS), probably with USB HDD connected
unknown modem
Ethernet connection between PC and AEBS

Do you use AirPort Utility? Do you use the wireless function of the AEBS and has the Windows PC W-LAN enabled?
Can you maybe post some settings you already tried? And I presume the manual of the AEBS was not much help?

How to make windows work with time capsule?
one friend told me that

it needs "one less" version or older version of airport utility than Mac's current airport utility.

Is that true? How can I make it happen?

Thanks,
MA

P.S. I am learning about mac.. I am not that tech savvy.

modem is verizon fios (i am not sure if it is right)
My airport utility works well with my mac (wired) and my work macbook pro laptop (wireless)
