airport express and extreme challenge!

I just moved into a new apartment that uses O2 secure wireless.
Found here
My Powerbook can get reception ok but my iMac G5 doesn't get any at all. I was trying to see if I could boost the signal with my airport express. It goes green but doesn't boost anything. I think it just gets sucked in the mysterious death hole of O2 wireless. I also have a orb shaped airport extreme. Anyone have any solutions??

update

I got the APEX to redistribute using WDS and entering the mac address I found off of O2's signal but... I still can't get internet access. I have it set as a remote and share the same name as the O2 service name.
