Perhaps one of the audiophiles out there could answer this question:
I have 2 AirPort Expresses set up, one connected to some nice powered speakers in my office, and the other to an AV receiver in my living room so that I can stream audio from my laptop throughout my home simultaneously. (I really love being able to walk from one part of the house to the next and still hear the same music.) Anyway, I also have an M-Audio Fast Track Pro set up in my office for use with GarageBand. I hook up the input to my guitar and the output to...the same set of nice powered speakers. Instead of having to always switch the cable to the powered speakers between my AirPort Express and the M-Audio box, I figured I could just throw in some sort of simple stereo mixer/adder so that either signal source would always be connected.
Does anyone have any advice on what sort of mixing device would do this, or even a better way to do this?
