Good monring all!
I am looking for some assistance in seting up my Airport Express. I currently have a cable modem that is connected to a Linksys BEFSR41v4. Connected to one port on the router is my G5 PowerMac and connected to the other port is my Airport Express.
I have a windows 2000 laptop that is wireless and can get to the internet using the Airport Express. I can also see the speakers conneced to the Airport Express. Now, my G5 can not see the speakers. (chked firewall settings, and that iTines was looking for the remote speakers)
I noticed that the Airport Express has a couple of networks that it can use. My linksys router is 192.168. and the AE is 172.... I thought that might be the problem, but when I change the AE to 192.168.... the internet stops working from the AE.
oh - I also looked in Bonjour on my G5 (Safari -> Bookmarks -> Bonjour) and I do not see the AE.
Any ideas???
Thanks,
Doug
