airport express and macbook pro problem

Hello,

seems like my airport connection doesn't get picked up by my macbook pro upon wake as it should. i almost always have to manually select the airport every time it wakes.

it is a first generation macbook pro, i thought i remember there being some sort of problem with the airport card in them?

There was a problem with this but it was fixed with software updates. If you're still having a problem call Apple. They will probably have you flash your PRAM, etc... which you could do on your own first if you wanted to. Other than that, try reinstalling OS X completely (not archive and install because you might have a preferences problem). If reinstalling OS X doesn't work then its probably a hardware problem.

Yeah, sounds like this problem. Hopefully Apple's trick will get it working for you again.
