A few months ago I bought an airport express, to stream iTunes to my stereo. I now have to reinstall it all (because I had to format my mac), but I found my CD is lost.

I need the airport express setup assistant to configure my airport again, but it's not for download on the apple site. Also, the utility mac offers in the 'utilities' folder in 'programs', is not capable to configure the airport for music streaming.

I really hope someone could be of any help, trying to find this program.. or if someone has the installCD, maybe could send it to me through email...

kind regards,

Hmmm... which version of OS X are you using?

I'm on the copy of Tiger that came with my MBP. In Applications > Utilities, there's Airport Utility. It lets me configure my music just fine; I never needed the install CD from the Airport Express.

I think perhaps you used the old utility and hadn't realised a new utility came out, it's vastly different, but works better. It might be different to figure out, but it will work for an Airport Express.
