Airport Express audio quality

Hello,

I want to buy the Airport Express for streaming audio on my stereo.
Can you tell me something me about the audio quality of the Airport Express output?

Somewhere I read in forums that the 16bit DAC doesn't sound properly.
Should I use an extra 24bit DAC with the Airport Express?

Please tell me your experience.
