I have an HP all in one printer/scanner (model 6210) , and I'm wondering if an airport express can completely replace the USB that currently connects my MBP with the HP? That is, if I only use the airport express to connect with the HP, can I still scan documents to my computer and keep all other printing features?

Is there a noticeable speed difference when printing/scanning over an airport express compared to a USB cable?

thanks!

First of the AirPort Express/Extreme only support printing and not scanning as stated in Apple's Knowledgebase "Before you start, remember that base station printer sharing is for printing only, not for printer utilities or other special features that may require a direct, proprietary connection." Printer troubleshooting for AirPort Extreme and AirPort Express

Also about the speed at least I don't notice a lot of a delay it will take a few seconds longer for me but it is worth it for me at least, it maybe depends on the printer as well?
