Airport express current or previous?

Hi right now I am setting up a speaker system in a room in my home. I was wondering if there is any reasons not to get the previous version of the airport express for airplay. I don't want support to be dropped and its already pretty old.

Bottom line:
Refurbished 2gen- $69
Refurbished current gen- $85

For that small difference, I agree with you... I would get the newer one as they will likely drop support for the older one.

You already can't configure the first gen. with the current version of Airport Utility.
