I think my AirPort Express may have died on me.

Last week we had a huge thunderstorm. Both my mac mini and G4 PowerMac where taken out, as was my modem. Anyway the guy came round to replace the VirginMedia modem which now works fine but I can't access the internet wirelessly. I can access the internet directly from the modem via the ethernet. I can also transfer files from one mac to another using the AirPort.

When I try to connect wirelessly I get the flashing orange light as if it can't detect the ethernet connection. My guess is that the AirPort is also dead, yet another bloody expense!

Any ideas if there is a way to fully diagnose it?

Thanks.:p

Resetting it would be my guess -- as long as the orange light comes on and blinks that means the power supply is fine, not sure what else could have possibly happened to it.

Good luck!
