Airport Express for ps3?

I've got an Airport Extreme N and use it to stream video from my Mac via Medialink to the ps3 which has wireless G. However, video is usually very jittery which I attribute to having only G wireless in the ps3. Can I plug an Airport Express N into the ethernet port on the ps3 and use that as a 'bridge' or basically replace the wireless G in the ps3 with the N antenna of the Airport Express?
