Airport Express has disappeared.

One day it was working and the next day it has disappeared off my iTunes menu. I looked for it in the network portion of sys preferences and it shows up there. Normally it shows up on the bottom right corner of my iTunes when I open up iTunes. I use it exclusively to stream my iTunes to my home theatre system. The green indicator light is on but no music is coming thru.

Any ideas

Have you tried hard rebooting the airport express? (unplug and replug). How is it connected to what?

Wireless? speakers? USB? Ethernet?

A few things to try

Make sure your speakers are plugged in to the express.
Make sure you're connected to the network the express is hosting.
Check the iTunes settings tab in the express' settings.

I had this happen some years back where I couldn't "see" my PC from my Mac because it had connected to my neighbor's open WiFi access point.

Thanks for all your help. I unplugged it and plugged it back in. Problem solved. Weird that it works one day and the next day it doesn't. Oh well.
