Anyone know if you lose any speed by using airport express/extreme wireless with a pb vs. plugging the cable modem directly into the ethernet port?

thanks.

You won't lose any speed. Airport Express/Extreme transfer up to 54 mbps. Your cable connection is what, 3 mbps max? You'll get the same speed whether you're using Airport or plugging directly into the modem.

Yes, unless:

1) You're receiving low reception (i.e. 1 bar)

2) You're talking about LAN transfers (i.e. within your household, not accessing the internet.)
