I recently purchased an Airport express for my wireless needs. While I was getting "normal" speeds based on my internet access after upgrading my speed I noticed a strange thing. Whenever I plug anything into my express my download/upload is 24Mbps/10ish even through a wired connection. Yet when I connect my iMac directly into my modem I get 64Mbps download speed with about the same upload speed. I've upgraded the firmware and everything and have yet to realize why there's such a huge drop. I've tried both wireless and wired to my airport express and the same problems. Anyone else experience this?
