Hey

I am having trouble setting up my Airport express. I can get a green light however no connection to the internet on my macbook. I have just moved house and in my last 2 flats the internet connected fine through my airport but I can't seem to get it to happen this time.

At the moment I have 'using DHCP' selected in my network settings and have entered manual settings in the airport. This seems to get a green light and the internet going into the ap but not into my laptop...

It's getting frustrating trying to figure it out.

Anyone know where I am going wrong?

I would try resetting the airport and then add whatever custom settings you have back one by one. That way you can discover the source of the problem.

If you are forcing the green light to appear by manually setting the base station, it may be that the main router has no ip for, or is not giving and ip to the airport express.
check your router and try connecting your computer directly to it and see if it gets an ip-address.
