Airport Express "Limited Connectivity" on a Gateway PC

I've searched the forums up and down and read multiple random internet posts that haven't given me an answer.

I have a mbp and it works like a charm, I can connect to the internet without a problem.

My roommate has a gateway running vista and cannot fully connect to the internet. The pc recognizes our airport express and connects to it without a problem. However, it will not connect to the internet. "Limited Connectivity" appears in the network setup screen on the pc.

Can anyone shed some light on this? TIA.

i have installed the AE utility setup on the pc. the utility is not recognizing the AE.

There is still no problem on the mbp.
