Airport express - no Airplay after updating firmware to 7.6.8

Hi. I have an Airport express in my kitchen. I use it to extend my wifi network, but also for Airplay.

Since the latest update I can't use AirPlay, none of my iOS devices see it anymore.

Is this a known issue? Anyway to fix it (other than to roll back the firmware)?

I have an AE on 7.6.8 and successfully use Airplay.

Did you try to save the configuration and reset the AE, then re-import the config?

First, have you checked that AirPlay is turned on for the device? Sometimes settings can get messed up during an upgrade.

Using the Airport Utility app, call up the device in question then click the Edit control to pull up more detailed information. One option is for AirPlay; this has a toggle to enable or disable the feature for that device.
