forgive me if this is the wrong section to post this, but i couldn't find one for airport express/extreme stuff, and i know there have been threads like this in the past but they didnt help me. so im trying to setup a minecraft server for my school and i keep running into the same problem: port forwarding. i dont understand how to do this on an airport express (current router).
mincraft port:25565
isp:comcast
i live in the bay area in california
i know my local ip
but when i go to whatsmyip.org it gives me a different number which i know is my global ip but is that just for my computer or my whole house? and what does that do? the server is at my house not at my school so its not a local machine.
