Hoping someone with experience with Airport Express could shed some light on this for me. As it is, my wireless network provides internet to my entertainment center via a dd-wrt Linksys router bridge. Unfortunately it is limited to 802.11g when my network is 802.11n.
I was considering buying an Airport Express for two reasons, first to act as an n-capable wireless bridge and second for airplay to my living room A/V receiver. I was planning on running an ethernet cable to the existing bridge from the new Airport Express. Since there are game consoles connected to the bridge port forwarding is understandably important.
What sort of port forwarding options does the airport express have, if any? Right now everything is forwarded to the bridge, then from the bridge to its destination. Would I need to forward to the A.Express, then to the existing bridge, then to the destination?
Thanks for any help you can offer!
