Airport Express Problem - please help

I have had my airport express for just over a year and had no problems until recently. My computer would stop recognizing my airport for random periods of time. I did not use airport for internet, just for airtunes and printing. I have tried full restores numerous times and the computer will recognize it to let me set it up but when it goes to update settings and restart (after i initialize it) the computer no longer recognizes it. If anyone has any ideas or thoughts, id really appreciate it.
