Airport Express Problem

Just started getting a problem with my airport express. It is not recognizing the ethernet connection and blinking amber. I thought the cable may be bad, but if I plug the cable from the ethernet in the wall to my iMac, I'm getting a signal. When I plug it into the airport, I am not getting anything.

Think the airport is dead or something? Its also not coming up on my airport utility.

I actually had the exact same problem as you are describing a month ago or so. My airport express was only 8 months old, I tried everything I can but to no avail. I took it to the apple store to a genius and they replaced it under warranty no questions asked. She was super nice, plugged it in and in less than 2 minutes decided I can have a replacement. Heck, she even replaced my old apple earphones when I told her that the remote on it wasn't working very well got a new airport express and new headphones.
