I have a d-link router in my office at a nightclub. The problem is, the office is surrounded by concreate, and wireless reception bites inside the club. Can I buy an airport express, plug it into a socket and it will extend my range? Is that correct? Also, if it is, will it work with my dlink? Or will I have to go get an airport base station?

Thanks!

As far as I know, it is not compatible with any other routers besides Apple when it comes to extending the range of a network.

I'm not sure about plugging it into the D-Link though...

My sugestion: Use ethernet cable run it into that room or area you need to make wireless. and add a Network Extender antenna, Dlink, Netgear and Lynksis all make them. Cheaper then Airport Express/Extreme. Same reliablilty Easy setup too.

Just my .02
