Hi, I'm looking to buy a wireless router for my house to get rid of all the wires. I came upon the AirPort Express which was within the price range I wanted it. However my question is how far will it reach? My house is about 25meters (80ft) in legnth and 20 meters (65ft) wide. Will one AirPort Express be enough to provide wireless for most of my house? Oh it's also on the 31st floor if that makes any difference.. And I own a macbook air so I dont think my laptop would be much of a problem.

Thanks a lot for your help!

In theory I'd say yes, placed in the centre of the room it would. However, you've got a few other variables to consider, such as walls, the material they're made of and the placement of the device.

I'd be more inclined to go with the airport extreme basestation, as you can then extend the wireless network with an Express if you do discover it's less than perfect.
