airport express speed issues with two users connected

I recently bought an airport express, hoping to live a blissfull wireless life...

I have both a mac book pro and an acer laptop pc to connect, which works fine except that when my mac is online the pc web speed is reduced heavily.
Something is rotten, and I have no idea what it is. I've tried to mess around with the manual setup in airport utility but no improvements.

The airport is placed in an open space about 1-2 meter away from both computers, nothing in between.

Anyone know, what might be the reason to this?

I looked in the log and noticed this message repeating over and over:

Deauthenticating with station "mac-adress" (reserved 2).
disassociated with station "mac-adress"
associated with station "mac-adress"
