i have an emac downstairs that i dont really feel like running a ethernet cable to.

upstairs i have a linksys wireless router.

if i buy the airport express can I install it next to the emac downstairs , hook up the ethernet from the emac to the express , and get internet?

im a little confused about how the express works.

thanks

yes, just set the express to join your existing wireless network (you don't want extend or wds)
and make sure "allow ethernet clients" is checked.

you might be able to get a USB wireless adapter that will work also, for probably a litter cheaper.

picked one up used on the cheap, though i am having trouble getting it to connect to my linksys WRT54G.

firmware is updated on both.

it finds the network, just wont connect to it.

any tips?
