Airport Express to Squeezebox through ethernet??

I confirgured the Airport Express to joint a Linksys wireless network. It is connected and green light is on. Then, I connected the Squeezebox to the Express using an ethernet cable and configured the squeezebox to get the signal through its ethernet port instead of wireless.

It worked but the sound is very choppy. It cuts off very frequently. I know I have at least 92% signal and if I connect the Squeezebox wireless I do not have the problem.

Does anybody know why it behaves different?
