I connected my Airport Express directly to my cable modem via ethernet, and then my Mac found the Airport through the Airport Utility software(version 7.3.1). I then went through the setup, and the light on my Airport was solid green. I tried connecting to it, but it didn't work. I could see my Airport network connected, my Mac will even connect to it, but I won't get an Internet connection. It gets an IP address and everything. I've tried it on another PC and it doesn't work on that either. I can take the ethernet out of the Airport and plug it back into my old router and boom, it works.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Did you reset or cycle power on the cable modem?
They typically don't like to have what's connected to them changed.

Wow, can't believe I missed the complete obvious! Thanks, the Airport Express works flawlessly now. :D

Even Apple's routers are better
