Hi all,
I have offered an Airport Express to a friend so that he can play music from his Window XP PC in the office to his Hi-Fi in the living room. Nothing spectacular.
His PC is fitted with a NETGEAR 802.11g board.
When I start the Airport Setup Assistant (ASA), I get an error message saying that ASA cannot access to the wireless service. Apparently, there is some kind of conflict between ASA and the NETGEAR management software, which I am not too fond of uninstalling.
When I try to detect the accessible networks, the Windows assistant says that the wireless service is handled by another application (most probably the NETGEAR management software). When I use the NETGEAR management sofware, I detect all the neighbouring 802.11 networks, but I do not see the Airport Express base station.
Any idea ?

ps.: as a solution, I am planning to visit my friend again, this time with my powerbook, and setup the Airport Express from the Mac. Is there a chance I will still be unable to access the Airport Express from his PC ?
