Airport Express Wired Internet Question

I have a wireless network through the Airport Extreme. My work computer has to have a wired connection. If I get an Airport Express can I use the ethernet connection on the Express to give my work computer a "wired" connection or is the ethernet port only for incoming internet from a modem?
 
If you get one of the current Airport Expresses (one with 11n) it can act as a wireless-to-Ethernet bridge. The older ones (with 11g) can not.
